Do you know Jesus Personally?
Or do you know about Him? Are you Serving Mama and Daddy’s; Grandma and Grandpa’s God?
Is God Your God?
Jeremiah 31:3: The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
Jeremiah 31:33: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jeremiah 31:34: And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
I just believe that each of us must have our own Damascus Road experience. It is wonderful when others in our lives share their Testimonies’. I just believe that is called Hearsay, you did not experience it for yourself. There are some things in your life that you understand better as you experience them.
Anymore; I can learn some things just by listening. For instance; I have never been drunk or high. I am 53 years of age; I will just take your word. I don’t need to go out and experience it.
The Word is telling us; the Lord will put His law in our “Inward parts”. If you do not fill that place that God has created for Himself in you; with Him. You will continue to be empty.
I have to ask; are you attempting to fill that place with-in YOU with everything else besides with the Lord? Family; Self; Alcohol; Drugs; Work; Sex; Power; Job, Money, Sex, etc, Have you tried Jesus?
Did you become inpatient? Were your prayers not answered the way you thought? Did people in the church hurt you?
I apologize. I just want to ask you what Did God personally do to you. As Mother Boyd asked me. Did you wait on the Lord or did you set a time frame for Him, and when He did not do things in your time; did you take matters into your own hands? Are you angry with God?
Did the people that hurt you; did you think that they should no more than you do? I would just like to suggest to you. Just as you are searching for God; so are other people. Who are we to judge as to who should be wherein their relationship with the Lord. Matthew 7:1: Judge not, that ye be not judged.
I just want you to know that it is one of the enemies’ tactics to throw you off course. It is just a trick of the enemy!
Wherever you are; whatever you feel that you have done. Repent, return to your fist love.
God is waiting for you! I challenge you. Go back to the Lord.
Are you Thirsty?
John 4:9: Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
John 4:10: Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
John 4:11: The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
John 4:12: Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
John 4:13: Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
John 4:14: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
John 4:15: The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
John 4:16: Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
John 4:17: The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
John 4:18: For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
John 4:19: The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
John 4:20: Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
John 4:21: Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
John 4:22: Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
John 4:23: But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
The woman may have gone to the well to get a drink of water; she got more than she bargained for her! Isn’t it wonderful when God Blesses us? When we come to Him to stop our hurts and He heals not only where we are hurting yet touches other areas of our lives?
