2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

James 1:3 knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

James 1:4 But let patience have her

perfect work,  that ye may be perfect and entire,  wanting nothing.

In my younger years;  I was always in a hurry.

I am so thankful;  for the changes the LORD has made in me.

The anger, hurt, unforgiveness; etc. The Lord has taken from me.

When I realized; ; I did not have to be in control of every thing.

Was a load off of me.

God has worked wonders in me.

I am not where I should be.

I thank God;  I am not where I use to be.

Personally, I do not think we ever attain.

I have learned; the more; I learn about the Lord;  the more there is to learn.

When the LORD began to remove;  all the things I thought I needed.

I was free to be whom He created me to be.

I was a single mother;  with 5 children.

Being humble; was not how I saw women making a difference.

I have since realized; the way up is down.

Everyone;  we meet is for a reason.

I met a gentleman,  on a plane trip.

He gave me a copy of his book.

“The way up; is down”

Too often;  I tried to do things my way.

Learning to live by faith,  has been a challenge for me.

God is always right.

The Bible; is true;  regardless; whether you or I believe it or not.

The things that use to cause me to be angry, don’t bother me anymore.

I no longer judge people.

It is between you and God.

I pray for you and keep going.

Quitting is not an option.

God has been to good to ME.

I Am not better than anyone else.

I appreciate;  what God has done in me.

I just believe; Christ loves us too much;  to leave us in the same condition; we are in when we come to Him.

Psalms 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

I can’t explain;  God’s goodness;  to me.

I just receive it.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for  our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

I am satisfied;  with whatever the LORD wants to do: in me; through me.

Anytime; anyplace.

I use to be painfully shy.

Now; I count it a privilege and a Blessing to Be able to Thank God and to tell of His goodness me.

For ne: whether; it be age; illness; whatever.

“But God”

Has worked miracles in and through me.

Just an example;  I would sing in the choir;  I was so nervous;  I would be shaking so bad; you could see the micrphone shaking.

Sister Palmer;  felt; if you have the ability to do it.

DO IT!

I STILL REMEMBER;  THOSE SONGS!

Even in the midst of all that has happened to me.

Like I say; “But God”

Who wouln’t serve a God like mine.

I have attempted;  to type this post 3 times.

I will tell it anyway.

I have had a stroke first.

3 Heart Attacks; the most recent in July of this year.

I can’t explain it.

God is good.

I Thank GOD.

I THANK GOD

I THANK GOD!

Psalms 23:1 The LORD ia my shepherd: I shall not want.

1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus,  after that you have suffered a while,  make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

1:Peter 5:11 To him be glory and dominion for ever. Amen.

When I think; of how Chist suffered and died for me.

I have no complaints.

My help!

My help!

Psalm 119:121: I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.

Psalm 121:1: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

Psalm 121:2: My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

Psalm 121:3: He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Psalm 121:4: Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

Psalm 121:5: The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

Psalm 121:6: The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

Psalm 121:7: The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

Psalm 121:8: The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Our church; has just done a marriage seminar.

Am I married? No.

When; the Lord says; it’s time.

I have read the Bible; several times.

Today; for the first time; I looked at the top of the page; of 1 Corinthians chapter 7.

The heading reads “Marriage and celibacy.”

Celibacy!

I am not celibate; because I can’t get a man.

I choose to be celibate.

My first Husband passed away.

I am free; to be married; only in the Lord.

I’m too old to be playing games.

I will not be unequally yoked.

I don’t know everything about the Lord.

I am living; what I do know!

It’s interesting to me.

Genesis 2:18: And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

I have found my help; my comforter; my all in all; in the Lord.

John 14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:23: Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

John 14:25: These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

John 14:26: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 14:27: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 16:7: Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

In reference to:

1 Corinthians 7:9: But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

Pastor Mike; said; “You do not get married to contain”

Barbara; says “Fall in Love with the Lord first.”

Why?

When; I fell in love with the Lord;

Proverb 23:26: My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

I learned; that this relation; with the Lord; is about the Lord.

I learned to deny myself.

I faith increased.

I am learning patience.

I have learned the correct way to give.

I have learned that; it is not about me.

I have committed, submitted and surrendered; my will to His Perfect will.

Sisters; you can’t tell me; that you are submitted to the Lord!

Yet; you have trouble submitting to the man; the Lord; has given you.

Or; did the Lord; give Him to you?

Please; don’t deceive yourself.

Per; Pastor Mike; If you are having trouble containing when you are single.

Getting married; is not going to cause you to contain.

Deuteronomy 2:3: Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

I’ve come to encourage you!

Do you feel; that you have been in that situation long enough?

Are you T I R E D?

Are you worn out?

Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?

Do you feel; like God does not even; know you are there going through all you are going through?

Are the abundance of bills and the lack of cash getting you down?

Are you trying your best?

Do you feel forgotten and all alone?

Are you doing everything right; that you know to do?

Don’t give up! Don’t quit!

Don’t through in the towel!

Deuteronomy 1:2: (There are eleven days’ journey from Horeb by the way of mount Seir unto Kadesh-barnea.)

Deuteronomy 1:12: How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife?

Deuteronomy 1:22: And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said, We will send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bring us word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come.

Deuteronomy 1:32: Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God,

Deuteronomy 1:42: And the LORD said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.

Deuteronomy 2:1: Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.

Deuteronomy 2:2: And the LORD spake unto me, saying,

Deuteronomy 2:3: Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

I’m not a biblical scholar; I’m just me! (Smile).

It took 40 years; to make a 11 day journey! Now; that is reason enough to be tired.

And on top of that; the people Moses was leading:

Exodus 32:7: And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:

Exodus 32:8: They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Exodus 32:9: And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

Rest assured; God knows; He hears and He sees; YOU.

It can be difficult to try and lead your own family; let alone a group of God’s people!

Just know; God would not have given you the Job; if He did not know; that YOU could handle it!

Just from what I have seen!

God’s people can be the most loving; caring wonderful people.

Anyone would ever; want to be involved with.

As long as; God is leading them/us! (Smile)

My heart goes out to Moses!

Realize; that it was God; that declared it is a “stiffnecked” people; and you do know that God loves His children.

I just believe God was saying; enough is enough!

When God speaks; things will change.

Hold onto God; your/my change is coming.

Sometimes; we have to be like David!

1 Samuel 30:6: And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

Per Barbara; do what you have to do legally and morally until your change comes.

Quitting is not an option. Regardless; of what you are going through.

I do not know what it is; God does!

I may as well continue to praise and thank God; for what I know He will do!

Be encouraged!

Some Friendly Reminders……………

Ephesians 5:1: Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

As a child; I endeavored to do what my parents taught; and in their absence. I did my best to remember what they had taught me; so as to not to embarrass them.

I am an adult; even though my earthly parents have done their part.

I yet have my Heavenly Father; thank God.

Psalm 27:10: When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

There will come a time; when you’re/my Parents, as well as I myself will not have a choice bu to leave our children.

I must remember; that we will always be God’s child; and I must act accordingly.

So; here are some reminders………

Regardless; of what is going on at someone else’s house. I must remember I am my parent(s) child!

Exodus 20:3: Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 20:4: Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Exodus 20:5: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Exodus 20:7: Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Exodus 20:8: Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exodus 20:13: Thou shalt not kill.

Exodus 20:14: Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Exodus 20:15: Thou shalt not steal.

Exodus 20:16: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Exodus 20:17: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

Jeremiah 32:40: And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

Acts 3:19: Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

John 10:10: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

1 Corinthians 1:29: That no flesh should glory in his presence.

Ephesians 6:18: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Philippians 4:6: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

James 1:21: Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

There are so; many other things.

Psalm 16:11: Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Jeremiah 31:33: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Lying is not something God can do;

Numbers 23:19: God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it?  or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

God let me know; He would hold onto me; as long as I held on to Him.

I refuse to have bad days anymore.

I may have days; that my understanding is bad.

There may be days that I do not feel my best.

It is my choice; not to quit.

There are days that I do not receive calls from whom; I am expecting;

It is my choice not to quit.

The month; may continue even after my finances has run out.

It is my choice not to quit.

When God allows me to wake up and see another Day; it is His signal to me; not to quit.

I must proceed according to His Will.

Lord Send the Wind of a Fresh Pentecost/ J. LEE GRADY

In the days leading up to the Global Day of Prayer, let’s bombard heaven on behalf of the United States.

Twelve years ago a South African businessman, Graham Power, felt God nudge him to organize a prayer gathering in the city of Cape Town. About 45,000 Christians responded to the call by jamming into a rugby stadium in March 2001 to intercede for their nation.

That was the beginning of the Global Day of Prayer, an event that will likely involve millions of Christians in 220 nations on Pentecost Sunday, May 27. This year organizers are encouraging people to extend their prayers for 10 days prior to the event, beginning on May 17. They are also urging pastors to fuel the prayer with sermons about the necessity of the Holy Spirit’s power.

“One breath of the Holy Spirit can bring life to dry bones! Lord, send the refreshing wind of Your presence into lifeless congregations.”

It’s obvious the Holy Spirit is orchestrating this grass roots movement, and I hope you will join it, either by attending local gatherings during the next 10 days or by focusing your personal prayers on the need for a fresh Pentecost. I believe we are on the verge of a new season of spiritual awakening, and the concentration of prayer this month is a key to unlock it.

During these next 10 days I will be meditating on the first chapters of the book of Acts and praying for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the United States. If you’d like to join me, you can use the following prayer points as a guide:

1. Lord, send the wind of sincere repentance. The original outpouring at Pentecost triggered a wave of repentance that resulted in 3,000 conversions. This level of raw conviction is never the result of eloquent sermons, staged events or man’s programs. Only the Holy Spirit can do this. The greatest miracle on earth occurs when a sinner’s heart breaks before God and he or she is born again. Lord, unleash a flood of conversions in America! And as sinners repent, let backslidden Christians, disillusioned believers and weary saints return to You.

2. Lord, send the wind of spiritual renewal. Many churches in the United States are feeble and powerless, and some are dying. Many denominations are paralyzed by the spirit of religion. Many pastors are battle-scarred and discouraged. But one breath of the Holy Spirit can bring life to dry bones! Lord, send the refreshing wind of Your presence into lifeless congregations. And with Your wind, send a flame on every Christian’s head—especially those reluctant Gideons and timid Timothys who know they are called but need Spirit-inspired confidence.

3. Lord, send the wind of a youth awakening. When the winds of Pentecost blew the first time, Peter preached from the prophet Joel, saying, “ ‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘your sons and your daughters will prophesy, and your young men will see visions’ ” (Acts 2:17, NIV). This promise is still ours to claim. A huge percentage of America’s youth are fatherless, addicted, abused, sexually confused or somehow at risk. Lord, raise up and strengthen ministries to reach our schools and college campuses. Give students the courage to stand for Christ and speak for Him. Send another Jesus Movement to this generation.

4. Lord, send the wind of supernatural demonstration. The most pitiful heresy ever hatched was the idea that God stopped doing miracles after the Bible was written. Forgive us, Lord, for limiting You! We need the power of Pentecost today more than ever. When the first Pentecost occurred, normal people were “clothed with power from on high” (Luke 24:49), and they began to heal the sick, raise the dead and cast out demons. Forgive us, Lord, for being so smug and sophisticated that we pulled the plug on Your power. (And forgive us, too, for misusing, merchandising and exploiting the Holy Spirit’s gifts for personal gain.) Unleash the miraculous in the American church. Let the same miracles that are occurring in Asia, Africa and Latin America become common in our nation.

5. Lord, send the wind of bold evangelism. When the first disciples were touched by the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, they declared “the mighty deeds of God” (Acts 2:11, NASB) to every racial and ethnic group that had gathered in Jerusalem. We need this boldness in the United States because we have become the largest English-speaking mission field in the world. Many of our communities have no gospel witness—and many Christians never share their faith with anyone. The true anointing of the Holy Spirit always results in evangelism. Lord, turn up our volume! Raise up laborers to touch every sector of American society, including our forgotten and ignored Native American reservations. Send immigrants to this nation who can reach their own ethnic groups. Let the gospel be preached in every language spoken within our borders.

6. Lord, send the wind of divine intervention. Our nation is in desperate crisis. Families are disintegrating, morality has eroded, perversion is celebrated, and our culture is becoming hostile to biblical faith. Unless the Lord answers with His holy fire from heaven, we are sunk. Lord, deliver us from evil! Extend Your mercy and send a Third Great Awakening. Amen.

What would your answer be?

If the Lord asked you; do you love me?

Just as; Jesus asked Peter:

John 21:15: So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

Lamb –

1.  A young sheep.

2.  Flesh of this animal, used as food.

3. A gentle, innocent, or helpless person.

A Lamb is not grown; it must be treated; as an innocent, helpless being.

Scholastic Dictionary

One of the problems; that many Christians; may have to day; is that we may treat baby Christians, the same as we do Christians that have been saved for a long time; that may have tough; rough skin. I have never been able to understand anyone; that has spent time; in the presence of a loving God and can come away bitter, harsh and cynical.

John 21:16: He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

John 21:17: He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Jesus; ask Peter 3 times; did He love Him.

I wonder; does this have anything to do with the unconditional love; that Jesus exemplifies to us.

Meaning; that we should show the same love to one another?

How would you/I answer this question?

We cannot give something away that we do not possess.

No matter what it is?

Love

Forgiveness

Affection

Courtesy

Care

Concern

Compassion

Money

Whatever; it may be; if you do not have it; you cannot give it.

Follow the Instructions

One of my Son’s has a T-shirt that has a picture of a Bible on it. It reads: If all else fails, read the instructions! That is just like most of us, we do things backwards. Instead of making God our last choice; why don’t we go to Him first!

2 Kings 20:1: In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death.  And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

2 Kings 20:2: Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,

2 Kings 20:3: I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight.  And Hezekiah wept sore.

2 Kings 20:4: And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

2 Kings 20:5: Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

2 Kings 20:6: And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

2 Kings 20:7: And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs.  And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

Before Isaiah had gotten out of the court, God had answered his prayers.

Hezikiah lived the life that put him in position to ask God; to remember. Only what we do for Christ will last! God will do just what He said He would do. What more can we ask?

Addendum: I have just about torn my stationary bike up.

Trying to find the batteries; only to find them; and not be able to get them out.

I finally; found the instructions.

I read them; it was a piece right in front of me.

I really did not have to go through all I went through; if I had read the instructions.

Note: To Barbara; follow your own advice. (Smile)

Commit; Submit and Surrender Your will  to the Lord’s Will

I first began to Commit, submit and surrender my will to the Lord’s Will; because I realized that I was out of control.

It was not until I committed; submitted and surrendered my will to His Will (The Lord). That I noticed that there was control in my life. I just believe that when I surrendered my Heart the rest of me followed,

On this journey; lip service does not work. I have discovered. It is all or nothing.

When; I was growing up. My Father was out of the picture.

My Mother was tired.

I have come to realize that if the Lord had not been with me; I would really, really be a mess!!

My children kept me anchored,

In all my issues; the Lord knew that I was committed to raising them.

I would be concerned about me later.

Note: When you have children; I believe that It is my responsibility to raise them to the best of my ability. My first responsibility is teaching them about the Lord.

1 Corinthians 10:11: Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

I believe that it is the father’s responsibility to be head of the house. If he does not take heed to his responsibility. I would not let my children grow up not knowing about the Lord.

Ephesians 6:4: And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

We went to church almost everyday, I fell asleep on the church bench when I was little.

My children have as well. If they do not follow the Lord; it is their choice,

It will not be that I did not take them to church.

Was I perfect? No. Was my parents? No? Are any of us down here on earth? No.

Just; be sure that you don’t grow up; doing the same thing; that you accused your parent/parents parents of doing.

it is challenging not to do what we have been taught; when we have been bor again:

2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

It is no more about your biological parents; they have done what they could. It is now between you and the Lord.

I have to admit; the love of a son and the love of a daughter are different. I appreciate and I am thankful for all of my children’s love.

When; my will is committed to His Will:

I make better choices.

I think more clearly.

I can see more clearly

My time is God’s time.

God’s will; God’s Way, in His time:

Ecclesiastes 3:11: He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

1 Corinthians 7:37: Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.
