God Knows!!!!

Isaiah 63:7: I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

1 Corinthians 12:31: But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

1 Corinthians 15:10: But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

1 John 3:1: Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Romans 8:28: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

I just believe that God knows what is best for me! I believe that God already knows the future. I just believe: John 16:13: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Therefore, when I pray; I ask the Lord: What is His desire for me. I also believe that if I pray for something and do not receive it. It may not be time for me to receive it. I do not want God to give me anything that I am not ready for!

I check my motive; before I ask the Lord!

I ask the Lord: What is His desire for me? I ask the Lord, what is His assignment for me!

I yet humble myself before the Lord. I am mindful: James 4:8: Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

I am more dependent upon the Lord than I have ever been in my life. I truly believe that because; I personally felt  that I needed to be independent, I was too independent. I have not been for Women’s lib and I am still not.

I went from my mother’s house directly to living with my boyfriend; which later became my Husband. Which is wrong. It wasn’t until I was grown with 5 children; did I then have to learn to be head of the house and all that goes with it.

Please, don’t do that. Take the time to be a child.

I don’t miss it. I never had that opportunity. As I look back; there are some things that could have been avoided in my life. There are some things; that I just did not know.

We must mature in the Lord.

Don’t blame anyone for the condition that your life is in! Please don’t allow the wounds of life to hinder you nor kill you. Spend time alone with God! God knows what is best for me! I know that; so I take time to ask Him. I take time to listen for His response. I do not get out of His will to cause anything in my life to happen the way I want it to happen.

My Heavenly Father knows what is best for me!

John 14:31: But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

John 15:2: Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
John 15:3: Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Let’s Chat

John 14:16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
John 14:26: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 16:7: Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Jesus knew that we would need help! He knew that He was leaving. He knew that we needed constant, continual help. He did not want to leave but He knew that He had to. John 14:17: Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

The Holy Spirit dwells in us; which means He remains in us. When I say “Don’t lose your sweetness” what I am saying it is as Bishop said before. Remember; ” It is not who you are, it is Whose you are”. Let me bring it a little closer to home. When we are talking; even with your children, with the neighbor, with Bill collectors, your Sister or Brother. Whomever, even yourself! You, I am representing Christ. The way that you are talking is it representative of the way that Christ dealt with you?

We have “The Holy Spirit” dwelling in us!

When we wear the Name of Christ. It means something. I am a Child of the King. It is not just when I am in the church or just when I am in the four walls of the church.

When we read our Bible; or maybe I should say me! Jesus did not spend all of His time in the synagogue! Luke 5:31: And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. Sometimes; we are preaching to the choir as to speak. We are talking to people that should already be aware of this.

Jesus led by example. None of us are Jesus, I know that. I am doing my best to follow his example! Think about it.

1 Timothy 4:12: Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

P. S. I can’t go into a place and yell and scream at someone; and then say to them; by the way I would like for you to read about My Testimony about how Good God has been to me! Think about your Witness, I do!

SOMETHINGS;:I HAVE LEARNED;  SO FAR!

Be Obedient

Isaiah 1:19: If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Pray, Listen, Obey

Obey God at all cost!

Take God at His Word

Barbara does not and will not ever know it all!!!!!

1 Thessalonians 5:18: In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Destroy generational curses

Don’t ever become bitter. 1 Thessalonians 5:17: Pray without ceasing. If you ever get to the point you can’t pray; you really, really need God to help you; as we all do!!!

1 John 3:14: We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

My ultimate goal is:

Matthew 25:23: His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Never stop learning; keep an open mind

satan is my enemy; not my Sister, Brother or my Children; satan can and will use whoever allows him/her to use them. Luke 22:21: But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

I have been dipped!!! Thank God

2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1 John 4:6: We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Don’t go backwards. Don’t return to what God has delivered you from!

1 Corinthians 11:28: But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

Realize that God is God; people are going to be people! Don’t expect them to be God!

Ecclesiastes 5:1: Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.

Don’t be afraid to turn the T.V. off and listen to God. Sometimes; spend time intentional with Him. Just the two of you!

Pray daily! More; than once if required!

My Bible doesn’t tell me to like anyone. We must Love one another; we also must forgive to be forgiven. Don’t allow anyone other than God to control you!

The Bait of satan is offence

Proverb 4:27: Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

How do I treat my enemy?

Matthew 5:44: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Luke 6:28: Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

John 17:9: I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

Get over what people think and what I think. It is what God says!!!

Anger is not the issue; it is what I do with it! Any anger you will not control; will control you. We all get angry! Deuteronomy 32:22: For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Ephesians 4:26: Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Be the Mature person in the situation; regardless of the situation. (Age has nothing to do with it)

Pray about everything and everybody.

Philippians 4:6: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Anything I will not confront; I will not deal with; including me and my issues!

There was an Earthquake in my Life. Everything in my life that was not founded upon Jesus was taken away and removed.

Currently; my Soul, Spirit and Body are in agreement. My flesh no longer rules!!

1 Thessalonians 5:23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There are some things that are just between God and I.

2 Timothy 4:3: For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

1 Thessalonians 5:20: Despise not prophesyings.

1 Peter 2:11: Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

1 Peter 2:12: Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Acts 15:20: But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

I have to take authority over my flesh; scripture tells me that my tongue I can’t tame. With God’s help; I can starve my flesh. Remember, whatever part of your body you/I feed the most; will be the strongest. I have no books, magazines that would detour me from God! I don’t watch R-rated or X-rated movies. I watch lots of TBN, those channels, tapes and CD’s. I watched the Passion once. I have the movie on CD; I’ve not been able to watch it again. (It is heartbreaking). I don’t watch scary movies. I have enough imagination all by myself! If I don’t look at something; why have it around! Sometimes; we can make things more difficult for ourselves! Now the stuff they show on TV; should be rated R and some of it should be X-rated. There are some things; I did not allow my children to see. We did not watch the Simpsons. Some things do not show good examples! I believe that as parents; we have a responsibilty that God has entrusted us with precious lives!

I desperately seek God!

I must be careful what I allow in my eye gates, my ear gates and I must watch my mouth:

I have set forth to please my God. I must make the right choices!

I am no spring chicken nor am I a baby Christian.

God is my Master. Anything He tells me not to do it is for my good and For His Glory! I am still learning. There are some things that I knew intellectually. Until My Sprit, Body and Soul could come together. I took God for granted. I’m being real. I can’t tell you from the aspect of a perfect child. I can tell you as someone that has personally experienced God’s Grace and Mercy. I just believe there are some things that do not become real to us; until we experience them. Im here to tell you. It is possible to learn from listening. I did not have anyone to share these things with me. I guarantee you; if you follow God’s word, He will teach you.

Just know; because you follow God’s word; it does not exempt you from problems. Most of my suffering has come from learning how to wait on God. In all that I have been through physically. It has not been the Physical pain that I have suffered. It has been the emotional and mental anguish. Maybe it’s just me.

God has been with me through the things I’ve been through. Oh yeah, now childbearing was not a picnic. God has a way of healing that pain. (Smile). God will heal you where you hurt! I’m a witness! Out of the five children. The longest I was in labor was four hours. Maybe that’s why I had so many! (Smile) “But My God”

I have a new enjoyment, love and appreciation for my children. We must realize that our children are people as well. They don’t have to do anything for us. I had a conversation with someone today. Please don’t ever take anyone for granted!! Ever!

There are a number of things that I learned after the stroke. I am just being real. See if you can learn them without having to go through what I did! However;

Hebrews 5:8: Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Don’t lose your sweetness!

Don’t sweat the small stuff!

Just as God; has extened Grace and Mercy to me! Extend Grace and Mercy to someone else. None of us deserves it; we surely can’t pay for it!!

Remember; what your parents taught you; always say Please and Thank you!

I will never forget the elderly lady in Florida told me “Baby it is a suffering way”. I did not know her matter of fact she hugged me while she told me. I just believe that God strategically places people in our lives as well as

Hebrews 13:2: Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
